Birgitt Shannon’s video report on the inaugural Affordable Art & Artisan Fair at the Black Sheep, Whakamarama

Katikati artist Birgitt Shannon is a creative of many talents.  Known not only for her precise style of painted imagery, her poetry and writing but also for her contributions to ARTbop content.    Birgitt is leading the ARTbop team organising the monthly Affordable Art & Artisan Fair at the Black Sheep Bar & Grill, Whakamarama.  Here with assistance from drone photographer Gerry Carey, Birgitt brings you a review of some of the exhibitors and vendors at the first Fair.

This video gives you an idea of the layout and ambiance of the Black Sheep Bar & Grill.  There are the permanent covered gazebos, open courtyard, a green for your own gazebo and of course the internal atrium.  You’ll find original quality local art and artisan product in all of the areas of the complex.    There’s great food, hot and cold drinks, parking and toilets.  Here’s some stills from Rosemary Balu’s day at the Fair….
