Ian Scott (1945-2013) has been widely exhibited and collected throughout New Zealand. Between the late 1980s and 1990s the Wallace Arts Trust acquired a wide ranging collection of Scott’s work.

Explore the changing face of Rotorua through panoramic photographs from the Rotorua Museum Collection. Photographs taken over fifty years from the time when Rotorua was a small Maori settlement catering princiaplly to visiting European tourists to its now district town status. The exhibition also shows photographs of key events in the history of Rotorua such as the 1908 opening of the Bath House, the 1925 visit of the American Naval Fleet to Ohinemutu and the 1927 visit to Rotorua of the then Duke and Duchess of York.
