THE THING FROM THE PLACE at Baycourt
Mad Scientists, crazy experiments & snot monsters combine in the ridiculously silly comedy “The Thing from the Place” The makers of critically acclaimed kids’ favourite “The Magic Chicken bring their latest insane horror comedy to the stage. A throwback to the golden age of gloriously shabby and endearingly melodramatic horror cinema. “The Thing from the Place” tells the story of a brilliant young scientist Frankie, who accidentally creates an enormous snot-monster. As his love for Clarissa the bogey grows he must hide her from his germophobic mother and the terrified townsfolk. Meanwhile the sinister Professor Lungbutter (the inventor of the handkerchief) has plans of his own…. With clever jokes to keep parents happy and gross out gags for the kids, this is a family show for everyone. Recommended for kids and grownups aged 7+. Tickets: Children (14 & under) $9.90, Family $50.00, Adults $18.00, Student/Senior/Friends $17.00. Saturday 25th October 2014 at 11am at the Baycourt Theatre, Baycourt Community & Arts Centre, 39 Durham Street, Tauranga.(07) 577 7189 email: baycourtboxoffice@tauranga.govt.nz Get your tickets now from the Baycourt Box Office, www.ticketek.co.nz or 0800TICKETEK (842 538)
