Concert: Kokomo & friends October 13 |
Blues ‘n’ roots favourites Kokomo play their first theatre show in Tauranga since the sold-out concert at the 2016 National Jazz Festival. The band are currently in the studio recording a new EP so expect new songs, including the latest single “Holed Up In Karamea” old favourites, and a healthy dose of earthy Delta blues. Kokomo will be joined by special guests, Tauranga musical royalty, Marion Arts and Robbie Laven. Marion and Robbie will play an opening set and will later feature with the band. There will be a full bar before the show and at intermission and Grant Bullot will be exhibiting a selection of his paintings. Ticket numbers are – obviously – limited. Over the weekend of 14-15 October, Kim will cover most of what you need to know to become a much better photographer, including photographing people, landscapes, wildlife, travel photography, composition, lens choice, which settings to use, harnessing your creativity, and much more. As an internationally acclaimed wildlife photographer and teacher of 10+ years, Kim has developed workshops that are focused on simple techniques to get great results.
