I’ve discovered that Tauranga would benefit from a larger concert venue; it was drawn to my attention. No doubt a place like Tauranga with its predicted commercial and residential growth will eventually decide when and where it will develop a museum and perhaps then “they” may decide to develop a concert hall. If however anyone was thinking of doing this in the foreseeable future, they may wish to consider building it somewhere around Greerton or early Pyes Pa and then the people from Matamata can come over and use it too and it’ll still be easily accessible to the ever closer “suburbs” of Te Puke and Western Bays.
