A present from Rotorua!

ARTbop drives into downtown Rotorua and pulls in to park.  In front of us is one of those old fashioned grey metal parking machines – like an antiquated juke box or popcorn machine.  We scrabble for change.  Out we get and read the large orange signs on the front of each meter.  Back in the car we get– free two hour parking is what the stickers say.   The positive response this engenders in ARTbop is immediate and high and is the start of an observation of a concerted effort to improve the downtown Rotorua visitor experience.
