Alternative original: Tryptofunk of Tauranga

0

Dhaivat Mehta and Kingsley Smith the creatives who make up alternative original music and composition team Tryptofunk are regularly releasing new works on their YouTube channel.

ARTbop has been privileged to work with Dhaivat and Kingsley and to publish contributions from them.  Dhaivat had a pivotal role in developing ARTbop alternative as a part of ARTbop. He’s well-known as a slam poet and a poetry event organiser.  Kingsley is a “veteran” rocker and musician and organiser of Rockfest.  He’s made a huge contribution to the local music scene.  He also contributed a particularly insightful article to ARTbop on the benefits in depression of music. Here’s their Tryptofunk official  music video for ABRAXAS and then a couple of their videos published in the last few days.

May is New Zealand music month.  Tryptofunk is New Zealand, original and alternative.  Enjoy.
