SCENE at PORTER’S PAINTS now in Tauranga

The launch of Porter’s Paints coming to Versatile Products in Tauranga was held at the Tauranga Art Gallery and ARTbop’s Diane Hume-Green was invited.

Porter’s Paints started in Australia over 30 years ago. They have been available in New Zealand for many years but it meant a trip to Auckland to purchase some. That is no longer the case with a local stockist and you can also take a class in paint finishes, especially the popular milk paint look and so many more. The samples shown at the gallery were inspiring as some items and furniture were painted with products that gave the look of tin, copper, verdigris, crackle finish, and vintage style with milk paint. A range of stunning wallpaper is also available and Porters collaborates with leading designers to create the designs along with a range of oak flooring with many different colours and finishes.

The owners of Versatile Products, their representatives and the owner of Porter’s Paints in New Zealand were all on hand to answer questions. A really great night which was fun and informative.
