FASH – fabulous fabric fundraiser: Te Puna Quarry Summer Trust

0

FASH at Bethlehem Community Hall – a Te Puna Quarry Summer Trust fundraiser; this year Diane Hume-Green was a participant!

FASH – Fabric, Abandoned Stitchery and Haberdashery is an annual event that has been running for many years. 23 stalls graced the Bethlehem Hall this year with a queue of customers waiting to get in.

Instead of being in the queue, I was a trader this year. Great organization and venue, lovely kindred fabricholics to talk to and so many goodies to look at. Fabrics, embroidery and craft items, haberdashery, sewing patterns, wool, doll supplies and so many more items from all eras.

Beth Bowden, her sister and mother were manning the Te Puna Quarry table full of glorious donated goods. These were being sold for funds needed for ongoing maintenance and projects at Te Puna Quarry Park. The Quarry is a great place for locals to enjoy a day out or take visitors to somewhere truly unique.
